How can I stay at a Ronald McDonald House?
The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Montana offers rooms for families of pediatric patients 21 years old and younger. Accommodations at the Ronald McDonald House are referral based and available to families who live outside of a 50 miles radius from St. Vincent Healthcare and Billings Clinic. Families may stay as long as their child remains in active treatment.
Who is eligible to stay at a Ronald McDonald House?
Contact the social service department at the hospital (St. Vincent Healthcare or Billings Clinic) where your child will receive treatment. They connect you with the House and assist in coordinating your stay. Because each child's treatment is unique, a family’s stay at the House is unpredictable however we do our best to coordinate with treatment schedules.
Research shows that patients whose families stayed at the Ronald McDonald House are the sickest, traveled the farthest distances, and spent the longest time in the hospital.
